This exhibition showcases images that are created by the combining of varied fabrics. The focus is on how minimal images can be transformed by the use of colour and texture without the use of paint. Rodrigo Gordo Mendez – The Sides of a Mirror

As a very young artist, Rodrigo participated in various collective and individual exhibitions in several cities in Spain, a few years later, he decided to leave his native Madrid and travel for a few years to broaden his knowledge and enrich his experiences as an artist. During this time, he took the opportunity to become involved in projects of cultural nature and co-operation in several countries. Rodrigo started his Fine Arts studies in Madrid, where he began dedicating his time to perfecting his technique in oil painting. This stunning exhibition of Surrealistic and Realistic painting is a testament to his dedication.

For Tony Walter-Bellue painting is a journey of discovery. The excitement and challenge of the work comes from the freedom to explore changing moods, colours and methods as the work progresses. The subject, whether real or imaginary, can then be treated in either a realistic or an abstract way. Landscapes mostly from the Kent and Suffolk countryside, based on sketches and colour notes made in situ or from memory, provide the basis for development later in the studio, and are the inspiration for much of his current work in acrylic and pastel.
