In collaboration with DBG Art Gallery, Bromley Arts Council celebrates Africa 05

DBG Art Gallery was founded in Africa in 1995 primarily to promote contemporary African art in Britain. DBG also aim to develop African art in Britain by building partnerships, co-ordinating art activities and above all creating new and better artistic opportunities for people from all over the globe.
Bromley Arts Council are pleased to host this exciting exhibition and to support Africa 05 and DBG’s aims to develop an awareness of Black Art within the UK.

‘Africa 05. is the biggest celebration of African culture ever organised in Britain. Between February and October a huge range of organisations from national museums to community centres will be hosting events that will celebrate the best African and diasporic arts.’

This collection centres upon the bold Impressionist approach and highlights the everyday activities of the African people living in Africa and around the world – we invite you to come and be inspired!
