ARTS TREK
29th June - 23rd July 2004
Not a spelling error Jim,
but an unusual event bringing together art and science. Local artist
Clive H Ball is showing a stunning range of paintings inspired by images
from the Hubble Space Telescope. These include oil paintings of vast
star fields, impressions of distant of galaxies and interpretations of
other colourful cosmic phenomena.
Clive is a Bromley based journalist and artist. He has written articles
on painting for a number of leading art magazines as well as features
on painting holidays for the leisure and travel press. His work has hung
in galleries in Beckenham, Petts Wood, Eastbourne and the Home Counties.
Clive also has work in private collections in Brisbane and California.
As well as painting locally he has worked in Tuscany, Andalusia and across
Southern England. Clive is a member of Bromley Art Council and runs art
groups in Bromley and Penge.
