Artworks by Seven

Motherly Love by Bob BryanThis is an exhibition by a group of friends who have met through painting or participating in artistic events in Greenwich. Some of them have had one-person shows.

Robert Bryan is a professional graphic artist and illustrator specialising in marine subjects and wildlife in their natural habitats, with exceptional realism.

Sylvia Currey, formerly teaching art at secondary level, paints lyrical landscapes, flowers and marine subjects in watercolour and acrylic, etching and aquatint.

Lynn Knight sketches landscapes, buildings and marine subjects, which she translates into semi-abstract compositions in watercolour, etching and aquatint. She also designs and makes unique jewellery in polymer clay.

Boats & Ropes St.Ives by Lynn KnightJack Messam is known in North Kent for his traditional watercolour maritime art, especially of Thames sailing barges. Founder Chairman of the Canvas Club.

Molly Waite mainly specialises in strong tonal still life watercolours on a small scale.

Gerald Whiting’s marine and general subjects in acrylic and watercolour often reflect his sense of humour. Specialises in the Viking era.

Pamela Wright prefers working plein-air on landscapes, marine and semi-abstracted subjects, in a variety of media including studio developments in etching with aquatint.
