NgocThu Kroeger and Siobhan Howatson

25th November - 19th December 2003

Siobhan’s work is based on the intriguing images of body parts, particularly limbs and organs that are, in her opinion, the most complex and informal aspect of our body.

Those who are familiar with NgocThu’s work will find that she is still fascinated with barbed wire as a subject: it conveys power, oppression and conflict.

The medium chosen by both artists is mainly charcoal, which will emphasize the tension between the natural and the un-natural.
