Helen Draper

Helen specialises in watercolour and is largely self-taught. She has exhibited twice at Ripley and also with several other local societies and most recently at Greenwich. She has had two successful exhibitions in the Sun Lounge in Croydon and when not painting, she plays tennis to keep fit.

Helen says "I find painting totally absorbing and very satisfying when it goes well. I like to work outside whenever possible and recently this has included places as varied as our local allotments, Chichester Harbour and Spain. In the summer my husband and I often go to France so I always take my paints"
