Justine has been painting since leaving school and went on further to study art and design which progressed into illustration. She is now working from her home in Greenhithe, Kent, trying to forge a career with the hope of painting full-time.

Her work is very much inspired by her enjoyment of modern commercial illustration, this has greatly influenced the development of her painting style. She uses acrylic paints to their best effect to create bold, vibrant designs using the quirky, individual characters of her subjects to bring life to the canvas she paints. Justine loves to use colour, working mainly with complimentary colours which help to give the images their strong graphic quality.
