‘Incidental Memories’
Roger studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design
where he graduated with a First class honours degree in Painting.
From there he set up a studio in his home and exhibited for many
years with the ‘Sandra Higgins Gallery’ in central London.
During this time he had several smaller exhibitions around the UK
and a major retrospective in France – Abbeville, at the Musee
Boucher. Soon afterwards Roger left London to live in Madrid Spain,
where he also held many exhibitions, returning after six years to
live in his present home in Hayes, Bromley.
‘My work at the moment deals with images of memories recent
and past, translated into oil, mixed media and etchings, the final
results being a refinement and focusing time, distilling the moments
into singularly peaceful works that capture the essence of the
memory.
