Sarah Youseman is a popular art tutor, demonstrator and painter
working from her home studio in Northwest Kent.
Prior to the exhibition at the Ripley Arts Centre the work has been
seen at the Royal Academy of Art, Watercolours and Drawings Fair,
Westminster Gallery, Chelsea Art Society, Affordable Art Fair, Battersea
and Francis Iles, Rochester to name a few. Paintings are in private
collections around the world. Her work has been published by Medici.
Sarah works in a variety of media favouring textural mixed media
techniques combined with the ethereal beauty of water colour. Subjects
are very diverse ranging from animals, still life, landscapes and
the human form but the common theme is beautiful colour, light and
texture.
