Sidcup Art Club
The Sidcup Art Club was formed in 1967 with meetings every Thursday
evening at Grassington Road Art Centre. In 1973 they moved to Hurst
Community Centre, Bexley where they still practice today.
Over the years the club has expanded their activities, with demonstrations,
visits to art galleries and exhibitions of their work in local venues.
A programme of weekly events is issued to all members.
The Club has two professional artists as members, Jeff Scudder
and Trevor Root. Trevor has many works in private collections and
Jeff keeps busy running two art classes, whilst both artists also
give demonstrations at the club.
Sidcup Art Club regularly attend the Bexley Festival demonstrating
