Jennifer Swanson

In
1977 Jennifer finally finished her extensive art studies and embarked
on a full time career as an artist; since then she has held many exhibitions,
both in the United Kingdom and in Scandinavia.
Her works are created in a variety of media, but most predominantly watercolour,
pastel and acrylic, often overlaying her surfaces with contrasting mediums
to interesting effect.
Apart from Land and Seascapes, Jennifer’s subject matter also includes
the figurative and still lives of fruit, flowers and colourful objects
from her surrounds at home.
In
her paintings Jennifer aims to induce a magical sensation for the viewer
using vibrant colours and hues to express joy and pleasure.
