Students of Peter Wait are staging a joint exhibition of their work, as a thank you for all the encouragement and guidance given to them over the years by this well know local artist and lecturer. Works will range across a spectrum of media and styles.

Works by Peter’s students embrace a variety of subject matter from traditional landscapes to portraits and abstract work. Many of those showing their work have been with Peter for many years, sharing his enthusiasm and gaining greatly from his constructive criticism.

Well established at the Widmore Centre, this group of artists specialises in oils and acrylics to a very high standard. A number of class members have gained success with one-man exhibitions at the Ripley Arts Centre, and in galleries in Beckenham and Petts Wood. At least one class member now has work hanging in private collections in California and Brisbane, Australia
