Weddings at Ripley Arts Centre

This delightful Victorian property, enhanced with Georgian features, together with the splendid gardens of Ripley, provide the ultimate romantic setting in which to recite you marriage vows.

The elegant Music Room, where the ceremony will be conducted, is modelled on a similar room in Hampton Court Palace and is designed in Classical Georgian style. The Music Room also features a superb Blüthner grand piano, which is available for professional use and is included in the cost of the 'wedding package'.

We will be pleased to offer a choice of musicians or vocalists whose services may be hired at an additional cost.

Adjacent to the music room, and seen through the large floor-length windows, are the manicured gardens of Ripley. Perhaps the most stunning feature of this scene is the magnificent willow tree. Captured many times by visiting film crews, the bowing, leafy green branches provide the perfect backdrop and romantic setting for photographs. The grounds have been further enhanced by the creation of a new Sensory Garden and fountain.

Ripley Arts Centre can accommodate up to 75 guests, and only one wedding will take place at any one time, to ensure our guests enjoy an intimate and private setting.

Included in your special day is the use of the Music Room for the ceremony, the Drawing Room, Dining Room, and an additional changing room for the bride or members of the wedding party.

Cost

The cost for sole use of these rooms is £450 for a period of three hours. Additional hours may be booked in the Dining and Drawing rooms at a cost of £50 per hour.. Extended hire of the Music Room may also be arranged at a separate cost.

The kitchen facilities are available for hire and if you are planning a small reception immediately after the ceremony, perhaps a glass of champagne or canapés, we can provide you with details of catering companies, alternatively, you may wish to organise things yourself. All ceremonies are conducted by a visiting registrar from Bromley Civic Centre.*
