This delightful Victorian property, enhanced with Georgian features, together with the splendid gardens of Ripley, provide the ultimate romantic setting in which to recite your marriage vows.

The elegant Music Room, where the wedding ceremony will be conducted, is modelled on a similar room in Hampton Court Palace and is designed in Classical Georgian style. The Music Room also features a superb Blüthner grand piano, which is available for professional use and is included in the cost of the ‘wedding package’.

We will be pleased to offer a choice of musicians or vocalists whose services may be hired at an additional cost.

Adjacent to the music room, and seen through the large floor-length windows, are the manicured gardens of Ripley. Perhaps the most stunning feature of this scene is the magnificent willow tree. Captured many times by visiting film crews, the bowing, leafy green branches provide the perfect backdrop and romantic setting for photographs. The grounds have been further enhanced by the creation of a new Sensory Garden and fountain.

Ripley Arts Centre can accommodate up to 76 guests for the ceremony itself, and only one wedding will take place at any one time, to ensure our guests enjoy an intimate and private setting.

Included in your special day is the use of the Music Room for the wedding ceremony, the Drawing Room, Dining Room, and an additional changing room for the bride or members of the wedding party. Overall a fitting venue for such a unique occasion.

The house is conveniently located about a mile from the centre of Bromley.

Cost

The cost for sole use of these rooms for our three hour wedding package is £495. The kitchen facilities are included in your wedding hire and if you are planning a small reception immediately after the ceremony, perhaps a glass of champagne or canapés, we will provide you with details of catering companies. Additional hours may be booked up until 10pm in the Dining and Drawing rooms at a cost of £50 per hour, you may also hire the Music Room until 10pm at an additional flat fee of £150; this allows you the option of increasing your guest list from 76 to 120.

All ceremonies are conducted by a visiting registrar from Bromley Civic Centre.*

Catering:

The numbers of people quoted above for each room would be the maximum if you were having a buffet style type of reception.

For a seated meal the numbers in each room reduces to: 60 in the Music Room and 25 in each of the Dining and Drawing rooms.
