Bonaventura Bottone is an operatic tenor who has performed at many of the world’s leading opera houses. Bonaventura Bottone has enjoyed a long and creatively rich partnership with English National Opera. Bottone is unusual amongst modern-day tenors in retaining much of his original repertoire into his seventh decade.
In Conversation with entertainer and writer James Hay
James studied at Trinity College of Music and in Vienna. He has worked in Opera, Musical Theatre and on the Concert Platform. Recital work includes several appearances at Ripley. Principal roles for Kentish Opera and Sevenoaks Opera. Appearances at the Camden and Lambeth Festivals Radio broadcasts for the BBC Appearances at The Queen Elizabeth Hall, London Vocal Tutor at various Drama Colleges Ran the Bromley Vocal Workshop for eight years. Patron of the Blackheath Festival Member of the Concert Artistes Assn Member of the Association of English Singers and Speakers James is also a writer and his play, The General’s Daughters, will be performed in June at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley.
