Judy Goodman: The Horse in Art – Equine Art at Its Very Best
4th March to 28th March 2014

An exhibition showcasing the horse in fine art by Kent based equestrian artist Judy Goodman A.S.E.A. Capturing the beauty of equines in work, rest and play (admittedly mostly work) plus a quirky insight into the working of these most complex of creatures.

Judy Goodman is an associate of the Society of Equestrian Artists (A.S.E.A.) and specialises in equestrian and animal portraiture using a variety of mediums including watercolour, oils, acrylics and pastels. King Rhapsody, a horse belonging to the late Queen Mother, was painted by Judy and was gifted by Her Majesty to the Moorcroft Racehorse Welfare Centre (based in Slinfold W.Sussex) to raise funds for the Charity. Her paintings are well respected and many are in private collections both here and abroad. Judy’s work can be viewed at her studio/workshop in Tunbridge Wells and various exhibitions and equestrian country shows.
