My work is concerned with landscape and place – the layers of marks and traces that make up the essence and atmosphere of a location, a kind of visual archaeology, and how our perception of this is coloured by memory. I work in mixed media including oil, encaustic wax, textiles and photography. www.marymorris.co.uk
