Paul Chambers: Reflections in Watercolour
5th July to 11th August 2016
Open evening 7th July 7-9pm

From the vibrant light of Venice to the muted shades of an English seaside, my work reflects the contrasts of water within a landscape. This theme is common amongst many artists who use light and shade to enhance their work and from whom I draw inspiration, in particular the works of Turner and Monet. P Chambers.

Trained at Derby College of Art where Paul achieved a Diploma in Art and Design, he has lived in Bromley for more than four decades. Having spent his earlier career as a successful art director for several high profile London advertising agencies and later freelancing, producing mainly cartoon illustrations for various clients, he now concentrates on producing watercolour paintings and has had many successful exhibitions. Paul regularly undertakes individual commissions and tutors private students.
Paul’s work is much admired and his paintings have found homes throughout the UK and Europe, the USA, Canada and Australia. His paintings have also been sold in the Mall Galleries and a prestigious Mayfair gallery.

His website provides an opportunity to see a range of Paul’s techniques and compositions using his favourite medium.
