Remembered Landscapes
4th March to 27th March 2009
Open evening 4th March 2009 7-9pm
Roger uses memory and intuition to create the landscapes seen on his journeys through England. In each work he aims to capture the dynamism and energy of the place and the action of the weather upon it. These expressionistic works use mixed media, including emulsion and watercolour.

“I have been a practising artist for over 21 years and graduated in 1987 with a degree in fine art sculpture. I have worked for many years as a community artist making complex public art, i.e. murals, mosaics and sculptures with groups of children and adults in south east London. I also run art classes for adults in Woolworth for absolute beginners and accomplished mature artists.
My paintings reflect my love of the British country side and passion for painting it.
I have many works in Private collections, in addition to those listed below I have shown at Craft fairs and undertaken many commissions.
