Gwenyth works with encaustic wax as a change from using other art mediums.  She finds it liberating and exciting as each piece is – to some extent – both unpredictable and unique.     The rich colours and textures provide endless possibilities for abstract painting and land/seascapes, with elements of “mysticism and realism”.

Having lived in Somerset for very many years I would find it difficult not to be inspired by the beautiful and mysterious Somerset Levels.
