Endeavouring to capture mood and action through colour and form Caroline Gould works from figures and objects to extract their essence in order to enhance the subjects original potency.

Trained in Fine Art with ceramics then working as a teacher at various levels of art education and residency. I am now able to explore my own particular interest in translating vital action with colour and shape using figures, objects and landscape as initial visual material, working on canvas or plywood in oil, acrylic or wood- dyes.
