‘Domicilium’

Rosamund has created a series of intricate semi-automatic drawings in ink on hand-made paper. The work focuses on details within domestic and invented architectural spaces, both exterior and interior and is inspired by artists such as Escher and Peake.

Rosamund graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey and had two successful graduate shows: ‘Barcode’ at UCA and ‘Outline’ as part of Free-Range at the Old Truman Brewery, which attracted interest from names such as Habitat, Nylon magazine and Getty images. She won the Student at Work prize awarded by Guildford Arts for her graduate exhibition at UCA.

The artist has exhibited extensively, both collaboratively and independently, throughout the South-East including at the Graham Clarke Gallery, Maidstone Museum and Tunbridge Wells Museum and Gallery. Her work is currently exhibited at the Bentlif Art Prize, ‘Through the Looking Glass’ in Maidstone and she has a forthcoming exhibition at the Bromley Museum in Orpington.

Currently studying for a PGCE at Goldsmiths College, Rosamund also works for Bromley Mytime as an art tutor delivering workshops. Previously, she was an art teacher for two years at Potters Gate Primary school in Farnham, Surrey and an art tutor for Year 10 students at Ash Manor School near Aldershot.
