My concern with multiple views and fragmentation evinced by the engraved slate panels harks back to my work over the past half century.
The connection may seem distant, but in terms of my oeuvre and the unifying forces behind my inspiration all the groups of work are not so far apart.
The ideas that emanate from imagination are realised in the medium at hand and, while the content or narrative makes reference in part to certain circumstances the works themselves are linked to what went before them and what followed as part of the creative continuum.
