This exhibition subject is between Abstract and Neo-Surrealism, symbolizing the human mind or personality. Our happiness is the blue sky, but we identify ourselves with the clouds, with the trouble, with the storms, with anything that can block our clear view.
“We’re totally asleep, living in dreamland all day long, all lifelong. We’ve completely identified with the clouds and we never see the sky. We might have a feeling it’s there but we never look at it. The clouds are our thoughts our emotions. The sky is our true nature.” KD
My new exhibition is about, one specific part of the nature, what can resonance with the human mind and emotions. I painted this subject as a symbol of our emotions and consciousness, my aim is to show the similarity of human nature and Mother Nature. I believe that we can find everything in our universe, all the answers are around us, we just need to look at it with a clear fresh eye.
The clouds for me have very deep emotions, they are from air and water. Air is the Prana, the breath, the motions, the soul, the speech. The water represents emotion on many levels and is the basic element of human life. Occupying the same space, clouds and birds share a lightness and sense of freedom in their movement.
I like the oil technique because it is very smooth, bright and it allows more time to create your artwork. These paintings lean towards Abstraction even if they are not totally Abstract, because of the subject.
