5th September to 30th October 2017
Open eve Tuesday 12th September 7-9pm

Escapism
Creating these pieces is a way to withdraw myself from the realities of everyday life, to look beyond our own planet and take a look at astronomical objects in our solar system and beyond. The thought of infinite space with so much to discover enables me to be limitless, like space itself.

I’ve been living in Bromley for 10 years and look forward to exhibiting my work locally.

Biography
In my early years I started work at Ralph Lauren as a window and store designer. This came naturally to me as a creative person and also provided an opportunity to supplement this everyday work with my own art which I was able to display in store windows in London & Europe and at RL fashion shows. During this time some of the artists who influenced me were Rothko, Ben Nicholson, Ellsworth Kelly, Robert Motherwell, Sean Scully and Gerard Ritcher to name a few.

My experience led me to work as an interior architect, an industry which I have now gained 15 years experience in the high-end residential market. I have now decided to take some time out and re-discover my passion for art which has been a little lost during the busy years of designing houses.

I like to experiment and challenge myself with different mediums including:
– chalk charcoal on paper
– water colour and graphite on paper
– sand and acrylic on canvas and paper

I can create work on large canvas to smaller works and have been commissioned to create art for interior design projects in London, Paris, Monaco and Moscow in the last 2 years

This will be my 1st exhibition so please enjoy!
